I am an ecologist and water resources researcher with extensive experience in scientific and teaching activities in Ukraine and Germany. My main areas of work are related to hydroecology, the state and sustainable use of aquatic ecosystems, as well as methodologies for water quality assessment.
In 2024, I defended my dissertation on “Ecological state and prospects for economic use of water bodies in the Lower Pobuzhzhia, Ukraine” at Odesa State Environmental University and obtained a PhD in Ecology.
In recent years, I have collaborated with leading German research institutions — Technische Universität Berlin and the Leibniz-Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (IGB), where I conducted hydroecological research within the framework of DBU, TU Berlin, and Einstein fellowships.
Key competencies:
  • hydroecology, hydrochemistry, bioindication of water bodies;
  • laboratory and microbiological research;
  • application of GIS technologies (QGIS, ArcGIS) and statistical analysis (R);
  • expertise in classical methods of water quality control and bacteriological studies;
  • field research of ecosystems.
